Commerce/Deals Writer

Antonio is a commerce writer for The Verge, covering tech deals and trying to save you [and himself] money. He comes from the world of photography and gets very obsessive about lenses and the discourse over "bokeh." When not deal hunting, he does wedding photography on the side, plays lots of video/tabletop games, collects vinyl records, and professes his love for the great state of New Jersey.

I wanna take you for a ride.

A new collection of Marvel and Capcom crossover arcade games is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam in 2024. Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection Arcade Classics will contain seven titles, including X-Men Children of the Atom and both Sega Dreamcast-era Marvel vs. Capcom 2D fighting games.

It’s about time Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is released from jail and easily available again outside of a pricey Arcade 1Up machine.

Don’t call it “6th edition” (though we’ll all probably do that).

After 10 years of fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons, Wizards of the Coast is revamping the popular tabletop RPG with three new core rulebooks. The 2024 Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide, and Monster Manual kick off a new, non-numbered generation of the game when they launch September 17th, November 11th, and February 18th, respectively — with preorders available now.

Insta360 has an updated ‘S’ version of its little vlog camera.

The Insta360 Go 3 was a cute little vlogging cam that was small enough to wear on a lanyard or attach to a pet’s collar. Now, the new Go 3S model has some nifty upgrades like 4K video (up from 2.7K), Apple Find My compatibility, and waterproofing to 33 feet.

The Go 3S starts at $399.99, around the same as the outgoing model.

The Insta360 Go 3S looks pretty much like the Go 3, right down to its magnetic case with flip-up screen.
